9am Formal Service
Every 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday of the month, a friendly gathering in the lovely Norman church.
10:30am Informal Worship
Every 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday of the month, a lively gathering in the St Barnabas Centre. Every 1st Sunday is All Age, a wonderful celebration with every generation worshipping God together. On 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays there is PowerHouse, special groups for children and youth.
10am Combined Worship
Every time there is a 5th Sunday in the month, our whole church family worships together. We alternate between the church and the St Barnabas centre. Check the calendar above for the venue of the next combined service. We often have a special breakfast together before the service. Join us! Everyone is welcome.
Informal Sunday Evening Worship
Come and join us on the first Sunday of each month at 5pm.
You can be certain of a warm welcome!
Venue: St James Church, Thorley
The aim of our evening is for us all to have the opportunity to explore spirituality and encounter God.
Tea, coffee and snacks will be available on arrival and throughout the evening. Just help yourself!
There will be songs, music, a talk and sections where you will be guided as well as times left free for your own reflections, meditations and prayers. The guided sections will be introduced and explained as we come to them.
If you would like someone to pray with you, they will be available in the Tower Room. You may share as much or as little as you feel comfortable, about what you would like prayer for.
There will be several focus points set up around the church with suggestions on how you might like to use them. You are encouraged to explore these.
Please feel free to join in with as much or as little of the evening as you would like.
