St James the Great - Making Jesus known

A warm welcome awaits you whatever your age, background or previous experience of church.  Maybe you’re just looking?  That’s fine, come and see!  We are a vibrant, lively, caring and outlooking community. St James is involved in many activities within Thorley, Bishop’s Stortford and the wider world – Join in!  You can choose from different of styles of Sunday worship at our unique and very special location  where there is also lots going on during the week.  If you feel like getting more involved there are many ways in which you can do that.  Home groups are very popular and are a great place to make friends and ask questions.

Children and young people of every age are always welcome.  They will feel particularly comfortable at our 10:30 worship where they will be able to join a group with others of their own age.

We love to welcome visitors and make new friends, so why not come and meet us one Sunday and find out more?  Do give us a call or drop us an emall if you have any questions in the meantime. If you decide to become a regular member of St James, we are just launching a special induction programme to help you settle in and get to know people.
